I created a WordPress account in 2007, but I left this place for the ghosts.
I’ve been trying to keep Instagram more active:

I also created a blogspot account in 2005 to replace an old site founded in 1999 with a focus on heavy metal art. (www.nauseaimage.blogspot.com).
In 2007, Fotolog was still an active place in the same way as Orkut. There were too many places to ‘exist’ at the same time. So I left WordPress.

I really liked the simplicity of Fotolog and also the people I met there. But unfortunately I no longer have contact with most of these people. It missed me a lot. Because it was in fotolog that I started to meet other illustrators that I could talk about many things, including Heavy Metal.

(I started using fotolog in 2004).

From 2009, I gradually left these social networks and stopped sharing my drawings.
But in 2011/2012 I joined Facebook. However, I didn’t care about Facebook, as I had already tried something similar on Orkut.

At the beginning I didn’t add any people. There was a line of people asking for friendship, but I didn’t know them. There were a lot of notifications and I had more to do. These people did not communicate, do not send any messages. Only in 2017 did I start adding anyone.

I also have a Deviantart account. Believe it or not I created it in 2003. But it is another place that I didn’t feel like. However, it is an excellent platform.
Between 1999 (when I started using the internet) until mid-2010 I participated in illustration forums such as: 3d palette, Sijun, Conceptart and others that I don’t remember anymore. There were very good Brazilian forums as well.

Orkut and Facebook took down the strength of the arts forums (YouTube too). I’m not saying this is bad, but I grew up on the forums and I still like how these places work.
There were even Yahoo’s mailing lists. In Brazil there were great lists: imagodays, ilustrasite and ilustragrupo.
